Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll walsh
Rainbow Letter R
What You Need:
Rr Template (courtesy of DLTK-Kids.com)
Construction Paper in red, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple
Background Paper
Scissors
Glue
What We Did:
Prep - I cut up the construction paper for the rainbow colors into small strips approx. 1/2in wide
Working from the bottom of the letters, the Lil Divas glued the strips in rainbow order until they reached the top of the letters.
Once the strips had dried I turned the letters over and cut out the Rr using the blackline from the template which I could see from the back.
Here's how the finished product looked - the Lil Divas loved it!

I cut these in half and used them as amatching/puzzle game. The Lil Divas had to count the dots on the cloud and match it to the numeral on the other card to complete the rainbow.
Craft: Rainbow Bubble Painting
What You Need:
Bubble Solution
Food Coloring
White Paper
Plastic Straws
What To Do:
Prep: I mixed the food coloring, making the colors of the rainbow as needed, into bowls filled with bubble solution
I opted to do this activity outside because it was the perfect day for it and this way I would not have colored bubbles in the house!
I set up the bowls on the floor with straws and the Lil Divas got to work, blowing bubbles through the straws at the white paper and watching them "pop".
This is what you get as the colored bubbles pop onto the white paper.
It was a fun and easy craft that the Lil Divas enjoyed!
