I asked Bernadette a few questions about herself and her blog so you could get to know a little bit about her.
1) When did you first start blogging? Why?
I first started blogging in November of 2010. I wanted a place where I could freely post about my girls, the things we did together, the ups & downs of motherhood and everything in between. I wanted to share it all with my friends & family and then much to my surprise "other" people started reading it and following along on our adventures!2) What's your favorite part about blog hopping?
My favorite part of blog hopping is finding great new blogs and the people behind them. With so many blogs out there - it's impossible to find them all and blog hops offer a great way to connect. I have found some great blogs this way that I may not have otherwise uncovered.3) What's your favorite hobby
I assume you mean besides blogging - this is quickly turning in to my favorite thing to do! :) I LOVE to read. I've been an avid reader since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I definitely don't read as much as I used to or would like to but it is still my go to activity whenever I get the chance.4) Who's your role model?
My role model is my Mom - she is the most hard-working, giving, and loving person I know. She inspires me everyday to do and be my best. The second Smiley Hopper is Miranda from

1) When did you first start blogging? Why?
I started blogging this year in February. I had recently left a local Women's group and was in need of a hobby. My husband suggested I start blogging and give it a try. I am a very social person and write my posts as if we are having a conversation. I share my love of books and reading with suggestions and book reviews. I also share some of our favorite HOMEMADE recipes, some even have pictures.2) What's your favorite part about blog hopping?
Reading blogs, getting advice, coupons and parenting tips. You can never have too much information when it comes to parenting. I also like meeting new Women and swapping stories.3) What's your favorite hobby
Reading. I LOVE to read, with 2 boys under 4 my available reading time has shrunk but I still make it a point to read everyday! 4) Who's your role model?
Oddly enough I have a few, My Husband for being such a workaholic and having so much drive in life, He often reminds me of our 3 year old and his endless amounts of energy, where do I find some! I also look up to Rev Run and his wife. They have done such an amazing job raising their family and working hard. A great family with great morals and work ethic, but they still know how to laugh and have a good time. Then there is Michelle Duggar! I love her! She is truly amazing! We have a big family as it is, and as much as we say we are done, NO MORE kids, we both secretly would love to have more. I love her organization, her planning, her parenting style, her calmness, HER energy etc. etc. I could go on and on hahaha! How it Works
