The Lil Diva had an amazing birthday party!
She got to live out her Cowgirl Fantasies and was so happy.

BTW - Did you know a horse's heart weighs around 10lbs, they have a brain roughly the size of a large potato and are considered a "dumb" animal! We learned a lot of interesting facts at the party, lol!

My Lil Diva Cowgirl is 5 Today!
5 few weeks ago I wrote a post titled Where Does the Time Go? about my Lil Diva turning 5 in 5 weeks!
Now that day is here and I honestly can't believe it! There are days where time seems to move so slowly and then there are days like today where I am completely taken aback at how fast the years are flying by!
Being able to watching my Lil Divas grow, nurture them and receive such unconditional love from them is beyond compare. I always knew I wanted to be a MOM - but I never knew it would feel like this!
I have loved and been loved by many people in my life because I have been blessed with a wonderful family and amazing friends. Yet, nothing compares to the feeling that overcame me as soon as I looked at each of my baby girls.
I love both of my Lil Divas beyond compare but on this day 5 years ago I became a MOM for the 1st time. There is something special about that and it's a moment that I will never forget. My life was forever changed by this perfect lil being. She filled me with new purpose, hope, understanding and an even greater capacity to love than I ever thought possible.
She fills our days with her joy & laughter, her unconditional and unbounding love, her ever changing hopes and dreams and yes sometimes a few tears. I cherish every moment and am both grateful and proud to be her Mom.
I thought it would be fitting to celebrate the first 5 years of her life! For one so young she has brought so much love and joy into all our hearts!

Wordless Wednesday - Birthday Gift GLEE
I have so much to do but I am fighting a migraine (again!), have a sick Diva (Dr. appt. tomorrow!) and am just plain tired! So I am leaving the rest till tomorrow - no review/giveaway today (sorry but this Mama needs a break - it's been a long few days!).
I didn't want to leave you with nothing so I thought I'd post my Wordless Wednesday photos instead!
My Lil Diva Cowgirl got a wonderful surprise today in honor of her birthday (it's on Thursday)! She is attending a Pony Club program at a local barn where she will learn about horses and horse care and basically gets to feed and groom them. Dream come true for this Lil Cowgirl in the making. Just check out her excitement when we pulled up and told her why we were there! I think the pics speak for themselves!

Where Does the Time Go?
My Oldest Diva is turning 5 in just 5 weeks! Where has the time gone?
I vividly recall laying on my bed and calling out to my husband in an embarrased panic that I had peed myself - and would need his help to clean up the mess! I had no contractions, no pain at all - so I did not think my water had broken! When I got up off the bed - GUSH! I knew this was not just my wicked bladder! My water had broken - it was 2 weeks early but she obviously was ready to meet the world! I waited for the pain but nothing came! I was worried - is it normal to have your water break but feel absolutely NOTHING?
Off we went to the hospital where I endured a Pitocin induced labor. I do not recommend it - oh the pain! I was seriously wishing I could go back in time to the pain free bliss when I felt nothing! :)
2 epidurals later (the first did not work on the right side of my body) I was completely numb! I could not move anything but my head! I was so worried I would not be able to push - how could I when I couldn't feel a thing? The nurses assured me my body would do what it was supposed to but I was doubtful.
My inability to feel made me exert too much force & boy did I ever tear (TMI - i know!) but hours later my darling baby girl arrived and one look at her just filled me with such love and awe (I made this perfect lil being - WOW!) that the process in which she arrived did not matter - she was worth that and so much more!
Now here we are almost 5 years later and I am filled with such love and awe at the sight of her each and every day! I am continually amazed that this wonderful lil person came from me (and the hubby of course - must give credit where credit is do!).
I love watching her grow into her own lil person - the good, the bad & the ugly, LOL! Yet a part of me wishes I could stop time - it seems to all be going so fast! Now I understand what my parents meant when they always told me that no matter how old I was, I would always be their little girl. It's impossible to look at this growing girl and not catch a glimpse of that little face that I first gazed down into on the day she was born.
